Saturday, December 8 – Music of the Christmas Season (Free Concert & Reception)
Hear St. Vladimir’s Seminary Chorale perform western and Orthodox carols at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church’s annual Christmas concert. The concert will be based on the English Festival of Lessons and Carols and allows the audience to experience Orthodox Christian liturgical hymns for the feast of the Lord's Nativity (Christmas) in the context of traditional Western carols. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in East Meadow, NY. An Advent reception will follow.

Sunday, December 9 – An Evening of Christmas Music with the Westchester Chorale and St. Vladimir’s Seminary Chorale (Free Concert & Reception)
Join us for an evening of sharing music together with friends, old and new! The Westchester Chorale, recognized as one of the region’s leading musical ensembles, is joining the St. Vladimir’s Seminary Chorale. Concert-goers will be treated to Dmitry Bortniansky’s Sacred Concerto No. 6 from the Westchester Chorale and other Orthodox Christmas music courtesy of the Seminary Chorale. An Evening of Christmas Music begins at 7:30 p.m. on the campus of St. Vladimir’s Seminary. A reception will follow.

Saturday, December 15 – Byzantine Christmas Concert
The Byzantine Choir of the Greek Archdiocese is presenting a Christmas concert of both sacred and folk music, in Greek and English, in the beautifully restored and renovated Church of the Archangels in Stamford, CT, where Fr. Harry Pappas, SVOTS associate professor of Pastoral Theology, is rector. The concert will be followed by a Festal Reception in the Greek Cultural Center.  This extraordinary event will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.  Tickets are $30/person if purchased by December 14, and $40/person at the door. St. Nicholas Choir presents the triumphal hymns for the Feast of the Nativity that are full of the original joyful excitement at the thought of the coming of God into His world. Our Christmas Concert is a free concert open to the public. Afterwards, please come enjoy our hospitality and fellowship with coffee and dessert.
